Alternative views on the Leica world by Erwin Puts

Inage from Cine Still 50 ISO

Below you will find a picture of a friend of mine, shot on Cine Still 50 ISO and scanned with Silverfisst. The reproduction as as close as possible to the original negative. The camera is the Leica m-A, the lens is the Summilux 1.4/50 mm ASP at f/2.8. The image quality is very high and different from what you can expect from digital capture. There is indeed a flavor of the seventies of the previous century. There is no grain at all and the highlights are very finely nuanced. The two lower pictures iare with the SX 50 mm at 1.4! The quality is very good and the imagery quite convincing.
